PORTSMOUTH, NH – New England Hotel Realty (NEHR)
announced the sale of the 32-room Centennial Inn, Concord, NH last week
to a Bethesda, MD, based
partnership formed by two nationally known hospitality industry
executives. The seller is a developer and manager of upscale classic New
England inns.
This is the third planned disposition that NEHR has conducted for the
seller whose portfolio of inns throughout the northeast have a
reputation for creating their own tradition of fine hospitality. The
company acquires architecturally and historically significant buildings
and restores them to “inns of distinction.” The result is a melding of
old and new – modern conveniences and elegant period furnishings.
The Centennial Inn, originally constructed in 1892, is a beautifully
restored classic New England inn with authentic Victorian antiques and
reproduction furniture adorning the common areas as well as the
guestrooms and suites. Modern amenities blend with the historical charm
of the building to provide the demanding traveler many conveniences.
Four outstanding suites housed in the Inn’s magnificent Victorian-style
twin turrets are fashioned with whirlpool tubs and private porches. From
uniquely
appointed guestrooms and suites, to intimate dining and function rooms,
the Centennial Inn provides a distinctive and personal setting that
allows guests to be productive on business or quietly relaxed as leisure
travelers.
