Patrick H. Ford, ISHC, CCIM, is President and
Founder of National Hotel Realty, New England Hotel Realty
and Lodging Econometrics (LE), the Industry authority
on hotel real estate. In his role as President, Mr. Ford is
responsible for overseeing hotel real estate acquisition,
disposition, management, consulting and research programs
for a variety of clients. Under his leadership, National
Hotel Realty (NHR) has sold hundreds of hotels throughout
the country and managed over 50 hotels nationwide.
Mr. Ford is the author of
LE’s widely read and respected annual Lodging Industry
Outlook and the quarterly Lodging Development Forecast and
Trends Report, a reliable quarterly measurement of the
Industry’s planned construction and an accurate forecast of
future supply by Chain Scale, for the Top 25 Markets, and
for the leading Lodging Brands and Companies. He has
written extensively for Lodging Magazine where he is
a contributing editor, Real Estate Forum Magazine and
The New England Real Estate Journal. |

He serves as a presenter
and panelist at many prestigious Industry events including
America’s Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) – where he
plays a leadership role in the selection of the “Development
Project of the Year” award singling out the most outstanding
achievement in hotel planning, design and construction in
the country. He has also made annual presentations to
attendees at the Lodging Conference in Phoenix, and
the Atlanta Hotel Investment Conference.
Mr. Ford has been honored
for two consecutive years by the American Hotel & Lodging
Association as one of the top 75 leaders in the Lodging
Industry. |

Patrick 'JP' Ford, CHB, ISHC,
is Senior Vice President of New England Hotel Realty (NEHR).
Mr. Ford specializes in the sale of franchised and
independent hotels, portfolio sales and resorts. He is
responsible for overseeing and directing the company’s
brokerage department, developing new clients and servicing
the disposition and acquisition needs of existing clients.
Mr. Ford has been
honored as Broker of the Year by Hotel Brokers International
(HBI) and twice was named Top Salesperson for the New
England/Mid Atlantic Region. Mr. Ford holds a BS in
Business Administration and an MBA.
In
2003, he accepted an invitation to join the prestigious
International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC). He
has been a contributing writer for Hotel Business
Magazine, and is a member of the America’s Lodging
Investment Summit (ALIS) committee charged with
nominating candidates for the hotel “Transaction of the
Year” award. He has been a presenter and panelist at many
industry conferences. |

Ken Ford,
CHB, is Vice President of NEHR. He is
responsible for servicing the disposition and acquisition
needs of clients, including directing the preparation of
sales and marketing presentations for hotels and negotiating
listing contracts and purchase and sales agreements between
hotel buyers and sellers. Mr. Ford also has managed hotels
under NEHR management agreements with institutional clients
and served as an asset takeover specialist responsible for
the development and implementation of “turnaround”
improvement plans for various lodging assets.

Peter Roy, CCIM, is a
Broker Associate with NEHR. He has been a commercial real
estate broker for more than twenty years. Joining NEHR in
1992, he has since participated in an extensive number of
hotel/motel transactions throughout the Northeast. In his
role as Broker Associate, Mr. Roy directs the preparation of
property sales and marketing presentations, initiating and
overseeing the marketing efforts leading to a sale. In
addition, Mr. Roy works with buyers throughout the country
who have an interest in acquiring hotel properties in the
Northeast.
He holds a BS in Business
Administration and is a Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate
Institute of the National Association of Realtors. |

Shawn Ford, CHA,

Shawn
Ford, CHA, is Vice President and Director of
Hotel Operations for NEHR, specializing in the management of
troubled lodging assets. In his role as Vice President, Mr.
Ford is responsible for securing third-party management
assignments from clients on a nationwide basis and for
overseeing and directing the operations of managed hotels.
Mr. Ford has supervises dozens of different accounts for the
company including all types and sizes of hotels representing
many major franchise brands.
Mr. Ford’s client
roster includes asset management firms, secondary mortgage
purchasers and insurance companies, as well as national,
regional and local banks. His expertise extends to methods
of revenue optimization, improving operational efficiency,
asset valuation and maximizing proceeds at the time of sale.
Mr. Ford has a BS in
Finance and has achieved the designation of Certified Hotel
Administrator awarded by the American Hotel & Lodging
Association (AH&LA). |

Mark Skarzynski is the Executive Assistant responsible for coordinating all administrative matters for
New England Hotel Realty including the gathering and
analysis of market research, broker communications, management
of all brokerage databases, oversight of property-specific
documents and files, and preparation and distribution of
hotel marketing presentations. He has a bachelor's degree in
English and Journalism from the University of Connecticut,
and has his real estate license. |
